Outreach
PRIME - I started the Project In Mathematics Enrichment which develops outreach materials, including codes and code breaking, Internet transaction security, primes, proof, conjectures in mathematics, Fibonacci numbers and 'I'm a Transcendental - get me out of here...'​

​​Student Tutoring - I am a member of the Steering Group and work with students to join this scheme which aims to raise the aspirations of pupils in schools and to encourage them to continue in education beyond the age of 16 years, by placing students currently in Higher Education in the classroom alongside teachers, to give help and to act as positive role models

​Student Recruitment and Outreach - I liaise with the central University team who organise and run a range of outreach activities on and off campus to raise the aspiration and ability of young people, including support for the Higher Education Summer Schools, and through events on opportunities in Higher Education and Careers, including provision of a Departmental Maths 'Fun' Day for year 12 and two-day Summer School

​South East Further Mathematics Support Programme - I am a member of the management committee for this programme and contribute revision sessions to this initiative which aims to make Further Maths available to all pupils in the South East

​STEMath Ambassadors - I set up and run a team of student maths ambassadors who visit schools delivering outreach sessions, and who also contribute sessions to the University's outreach programme and act as STEMNET Ambassadors

​STEMNET - I am a STEMNET Ambassador which involves engaging with schools, students and teacher on mathematics, higher education and careers, helping them make links from the curriculum to how Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics is practised in the world of work, illuminating applications across a vast range of careers​​
